There I helped my team to 3 NCAA tournament appearances, and various appearances in the AVCA Top 25 coaches poll. As a recovering overachiever, I actually never missed a college practice!

In 2006 I graduated in with a degree in Sports Management. In 2007, I went back to school at UOP to study Student Affairs in Higher Education, I concentrated specifically on Student-Athlete Development and in 2009, I graduated with my Master's Degree.

My background positions me uniquely to help you understand how to create the opportunities you seek for your college experience, as well as be prepared to navigate it well once you're there.

For just under decade, I served as the Director of Recruiting for Absolute Volleyball Club (San Rafael, Ca) helping dozens of athletes at the club find their opportunities at the next level.

I have spent hundreds of hours evaluating players, consulting athletes and parents, and connecting with college coaches.

I also have extensive experience leading recruiting workshops, orchestrating college coach lead volleyball camps, and speaking about the recruiting process, and life at the next level and beyond, at various camps and clinics.

I have spent countless hours helping athletes and their parents navigate life at the next level, and have most recently upped my game with Life Coach Certification from the Life Coach School.

We look forward to cheering our boys as they discover their passions.

As a total volleydork, I also love to catch any college or high school matches that I can!

Avid podcast junkie. I actually discovered life coaching through a podcast! Working with a life coach has had such an amazing impact on my life; and I only wish I would have known what I know now, sooner. Knowing how my brain works, and how my results are created, would have saved me so much heartache and anxiety when I was a competing athlete, and during the days of navigating life after sport!

Why Life-Coaching?

Because what I've learned is you have to develop skills to manage your mind as you do the hard things.

It actually doesn't come naturally for us as humans! And we aren't really taught the skills before we need them.  In fact our brain actually works against us in some cases!  Which is totally normal, and expected.

Knowing what I know now about how the brain works, and how results are created, would have helped me immensely when I was in your shoes.

I know what it feels like to force yourself to show up to practice even when you don't feel like it, to re-set your goals when you didn't expect to, to navigate the sometimes difficult relationships with your coaches and teammates, to struggle balancing the overwhelm with the expectations, and to manage the anxiety that seems to pulse underneath it all.

All of this is challenging yes, but it doesn't need to leave you paralyzed either.

What I want to offer you is the opportunity to develop awareness around what you are thinking,  so that you can develop useful thought hacks for your life as a college athlete, or future college athlete.

And no, I am not taking about your 'performance' as an athlete.

My coaching with you is not intended to get you to 'perform better.'

My belief is that you are more than someone who performs amazing skills under pressure.

I believe you deserve to thrive within your life as a competitive athlete. And that in order to help you thrive as an athlete, we need to help you first thrive as a human.

When you have the skills to play, coupled with the ability to think, in a way that serves you rather than hinders you, that's where long lasting success becomes inevitable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Coaching is an interactive experience where we discover your goals, and your passions. We uncover what your brain is thinking so that you can create a path to the life you want.

100%! What happens in our sessions stays in our sessions, just like seeing a therapist.

The time that your coaching process will take depends on the complexity of your goals and your commitment and openness to your process. In order to get the full coaching experience, after making sure we are a good fit for each other via a consult call, we will work together for a minimum of three months and continue on together for as long as you need.

That depends on the kind of coaching you are looking for. I offer various packages, some where we meet weekly, others where we meet bi-weekly. Next Level Ready Academy will meet monthly.
